MESSAGE OF GOD'S LOVE

At the Catholic Enquiry Centre (CEC). We experience the joy of reaching out to hundreds of people, many belonging to other faiths, to spread the great message of God’s love for us, His children.

HOLY SPIRIT AND YOU

Dear Child of God, I request you to lift your hearts to God and join me as I pray: Loving Father, pour out your abundant LOVE into the hearts of the reader and the hearers through the Holy Spirit, whom you have given as your gift to us. Dear Holy Spirit, fill them with divine wisdom to know and love you. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

NEWS & EVENTS

MALTA Delegation at CEC Bangalore – 11th February 2016

A traditional welcome saw all the three guests from Malta – Msgr Salvinu Micallef, Fr Rosario Galdes and Mr Patrich Fenech – in fragrant jasmine garlands and red tilaks. Early that morning, they had learned of the cultural significance of each of these and the ‘Indian welcome with an aarthi’ in general, so indeed, they were all overjoyed at having received one again.

After the initial introductory remarks and exchange of pleasantries, the Teams from CEC and PMO (Pontifical Mission Organization – India and Malta) began reviewing Evangelization methods through the famous FREE Bible Correspondence Course Programme via CEC Bangalore. Needless to say, each of the Delegates were impressed at the work that is being done from the Centre, as Rev Sr Margaret Cruz – Directress CEC Bangalore, took the visiting missionaries through the Evangelization Process in three languages (English, Kannada, Tamil) and the Table Ministry Methodology.

Sharing their Missionary experiences from Malta, Msgr Salvinu – National Director Pontifical Mission Societies Malta, explained the difficult work that around 700 Malta missionaries undertook with joy and partnership, regardless of challenges, across various cultures all over the world.

The highlight was the Testimony sharing from Ms. Mariam Nishath, a CEC Co-worker, who began with the FREE Bible Correspondence Course in English, completed all the 3 stages of it, was baptized into the Catholic Faith and is now dedicating her time after work into Evangelization at CEC’s Table Ministry Missions during Thursdays at Infant Jesus Church and other special occasions like Parish Festivals. Her encounter with Christ Jesus, HIS blessed Mother and the role that they have continually played in her life, especially through her tough times and varied questions, captured the attention of the audience who marveled at the Divine mystery of it all…

This meeting ended with a short fellowship and the PMO Teams then visited other parts of the miraculous Infant Jesus Church and Shrine.
