Tumkur Mission

On 23rd October 2016 we left for ID Halli, Madhugiri-Tumkur at 7 am for our mission. We the Staff, Co workers and CEC Youth for Christ began our journey by invoking God’s Blessings and the assistance of the Spirit to be with us throughout the day. We reached there with much excitement as to what the day going to be.

When we reached there to our surprise we could see the place from far distance was well set up as if there is a grand feast day celebration with Music and decoration. The whole day was packed with programme. We began with Praise & worship followed by Praying the Rosary. Everyone was moved with singing and dancing. Mrs. Mariam and Mr. Ranjeet Kumar shared their experience of encountering the Lord in their Lives. There were also few of the locals who shared their tangible experience of the Merciful Lord. After meeting the Lord they are peaceful, happy and so on. The Eucharistic Celebration was celebrated meaningfully after which we had the Eucharistic Adoration the highpoint of the day. The people who gathered there do not know what was happening but yet they were attentive to the tunes and the guidance of the priests who were guiding and explaining them all about the Holy Eucharist and the Eucharistic Adoration. Every one gathered there participated whole heartedly to all that was taking place. As someone rightly said when the priest who was carrying the Monstrance was coming down to the people it was like Jesus is walking and coming to each one. All felt the real presence of the Lord.

We thank the Lord for the bright and enriching day we had. We returned to our place filled with satisfaction and admiration.
